How it started
I was saved on the 1st of July 2001 into the Gospel of the Grace of Jesus Christ - a message rooted in His sacrifice on the cross of Calvary and how He redeemed me from sin and unrighteousness through His death.
That truth became the foundation of my life. Since then, life has taken me across countries and continents. Being far from my home church, I tried staying connected through YouTube and Facebook. But every time I focused on God’s Word, I found myself surrounded by distractions - worldly videos, trending noise, and algorithms that buried the Gospel.
In Dubai, I couldn’t find a church that preached the raw, unfiltered grace of Christ - the kind that keeps the cross at the center. My pastor started sending me sermons via WhatsApp, but those messages would get lost in the chaos of everyday chats, notifications, and constant pings.

I started downloading sermons from YouTube just to hold on to some peace. But even that became a chore. I don’t keep social apps on my phone, so the cycle went like this: download the app, find the sermon, download it, delete the app, listen, then forget the file amidst the chaos of life and my phone. Every week. It just wasn’t sustainable.
Sometimes I’d remember a sermon that hit deep - but there was nowhere to find it again. My church has over 200 branches worldwide, and many pastors I admire. But their messages? Hard to access, sometimes in other languages, or just lost in the mix. I realized: there needs to be a better way. A way to hear from your pastors - no matter where they are.
I also noticed something spiritual. The days I didn’t feed on the Word, my mind filled with stress, anxiety, and noise. But when I stayed in the Word, peace ruled.
While building a voice-based app for my company, one word kept echoing in my spirit: “HolyMic.” I ignored it at first. But once the project ended, I knew this idea wasn’t random. That same framework could serve churches. It could help believers. It could carry the Gospel.
One night, I searched to see if HolyMic.com was available - and it was. I knew that was God nudging me. Still, I hesitated. Would anyone even care about a Christian app like this? But the burden didn’t leave. So I bought the domain, cleared my desktop, made a folder called “HolyMic,” and began.
For three weeks straight - alone, sleep-deprived, and driven by fire - I built HolyMic. No big team. No big funding. Just a big God, and a real burden for the Church to rise in this digital age.
Today, I present HolyMic to the world - with prayer and faith. I pray it becomes a place where churches reach the lost, where believers cry out, share burdens, and find real encouragement. A platform where the Word of God travels without distortion.
May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
